Engineering and Maintenance Division
The IAA Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Department, by utilizing, its experienced and highly trained engineers, has the dynamic responsibility for the maintenance of IAAs and its numerous customers' different types of aircraft. This department, possessed with formal permissions from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran on one hand, and EASA part 145 Approval Certificate on the other, paves the way for base and line repairs to meet the internal and external regional requirements of the world aviation industry.
It should be noted that the acquisition of EASA part 145 Certificate from DGAC of France the acceptance of IAA as an approved maintenance organization and UAE GCAA approval for maintenance of Boeing 727 aircraft registered in UAE are the best indices of the capabilities and merits of IAA Engineering and Maintenance Department. This department is committed to uphold world aviation standards in order to upgrade the safety level and improve the quality and quantity of services.
Quality Assurance and Control
Technical specialists in QA/QC department endeavor that all maintenance and engineering activities be in accordance with flight standards. This may be fulfilled through direct and indirect inspections by quality control and assurance experts.
QC Direct Inspections
Quality control team is responsible to perform direct inspection on aircraft and pertinent systems during maintenance and engineering process.
The direct inspection process is as follows:
· Preliminary inspections
· NDT inspections
· In progress know-how inspections
· Final inspections of product
· Material inspections

QA Indirect Inspections
Experts of quality analysis are responsible for indirect inspection of quality control programs. This may cover all the maintenance and engineering activities defining EASA part 145 and all relevant regulatory requirments.These inspections are aimed at:
· Inspection on good performance and all methods and procedures
· Compliance with flight standards
· Compliance with quality management system
Engineering services
· Full support of maintenance, modifications and overhaul activities
· Engine monitoring conditions and status of engines
· Technical support and services for the overhaul of aircrafts in connection with airframes, engines, systems, parts and avionics equipments and responsive to chronicle and repetitive defects of maintenance department.

Technical SuppIy
The Technical Supply Division is in charged of supplying and purchasing all hardware and software, components, materials, and consumable parts with the highest international aviation standard bearing all the tags and necessary certificates to comply with EASA, FAA and CAO certificates and approvals.
This division provides the same services to all IAA customers and other domestic airlines and aviation organizations.
